LIGHTHORNE

The village lies about six miles south east of Warwick. A number of seventeenth century houses adjoin the church of St.Lawrence, rebuilt in 1876 but the earlier tower was retained. The built-up area of Gaydon, R.A.F. station is in this parish, and the extra-parochial area of Compton Verney is associated with Lighthorne.
