SHERBO(U)RNE WITH FULBROOK

The village is just over two miles south west of Warwick on the road to Stow in the Wold. The name is that of a brook which runs into the river Avon. The church is in Victorian Gothic style and was designed by Sir Gilbert Scott. Sherborne House, the home of the Smith-Ryland family, dates from 1700. Fulbrook (or Fulbroke) is the site of a deserted mediaeval village.
