SNITTERFIELD

The village is four miles north east of Stratford-upon-Avon. There are Shakespearian connections in that property in the village was owned by his uncle and then partly by his father. The oldest building in the village in Church road is thought to be the home of the Shakespeare family. The parish church dates from the fourteenth century but was altered in 1858.
