STOCKTON

Stockton, a very small parish in area, is about eight miles south east of Leamington Spa. The village grew considerably in size during last century as there were extensive lime and cement works in the area; the cement was taken to London by barges using the Grand Union Canal. The church is modern, having been built in 1863.
