WOLSTON-CUM-BRANDON

The villages of Wolston and Brandon on either side of the River Avon, just over five miles south east of Coventry were once dominated by a castle owned by the de Verdon family, and stood on the river bank at Brandon. The Manor House is a Georgian building. Bretford and Marston are hamlets, Brandon and Bretford are now combined as a civil parish.
